Osteopaths of Catalonia (OSTCAT)

Osteòpates de Catalunya (OSCAT), is the organization of professional members of osteopathy in Catalonia. The purpose of the group is to unite, promote, develop and support the osteopathic profession, to improve public health and patient care.

It brings together osteopathy professionals in Catalonia, works and defends professionals in osteopathy and osteopathy as a first-intention, independent health profession from others.

Osteopathy is a gentle, effective approach to health care, based on the principle that the way your body moves influences the way it works. Osteopaths are highly competent health professionals, recognized by WHO fully qualified to diagnose and treat independently.

In the world, more than 30,000 people visit an osteopath every day, these patients suffer from a variety of disorders, cervical problems or back pains, joint or muscle pains, sports injuries, recurring headaches, among others. These patients are pregnant women, children, people who suffer from work stress, or pain and stiffness related to older age.

Osteopaths of Catalonia It strives to raise the standards of osteopathic care, and improve understanding and knowledge of the benefits of osteopathy among public health professionals.
